ESPN's "The Ultimate Highlight"

How is it that ESPN manages to butcher amazing sports plays with its "Ultimate Highlight"? For some reason, the producers think:

1. Zooming in on all of the clips so that you can't see what's happening makes it "interesting"
2. Shaking the camera makes it "fun"
3. Blaring guitar music makes it "hip"
4. Five simultaneous video overlays make it "modern"
5. Poorly-timed transitions make it "suspenseful"

Yet another chapter in SportCenter's inevitable decline . . .
