'Cuse takes out #1 Connecticut

An amazing game, my friends. Syracuse took out #1 ranked Connecticut in the Big East Tournament. It's too bad I had to go to class with 3 minutes left in regulation. Argh, stupid class.
I was kind of worried about 'Cuse staying on the bubble when GW lost to Temple earlier this morning, but this seals the deal.

That game was hot indeed! How about Gerry McNamara with clutch three-pointers in the final seconds 2 days in a row!?

I hate to kill your buzz here, but why would you go to class with 3 minutes left? Can't you be late one time? Or, god forbid, miss a class? Pardon me if it was a seminar or you were on call, in which case I am out of line, but that game was pretty historic in your school's history. Boeheim called it your best win in 44 years! And you left to go listen to a law school lecture? What will you remember a year from now, or five years from now? That you made it on time to class?! My friend, I hardly knew ye.

I really don't mean this to be as denigrating as it might come off. I'm just giving you a hard time.

I woke up at 5:30AM Saturday morning, drove to NYC, spent all day looking for a ticket, and ended up dropping $75 for a seat in the Garden.

Bottom line: I saw Gerry and Co win the final. Brilliant.

Last night's game was pretty disappointing. Everytime Syracuse built up some momentum in the 2d half, it seemed they managed to lose it before tieing with A&M. I think if they had killed the lead they would have won--A&M looked scared. And the three-point shooting made me want to puke. Bummer.
