10 Things I Don't Understand

  1. Why I don't steal from luggage carousels at the airport.

  2. Why speaker stands for home theaters cost $100 each.

  3. Why the Golden State Warriors thought that Chris Webber was relevant.

  4. Western nuclear proliferation policy.

  5. The reason I find it amusing that 'increased urges for compulsive gambling' is a known side effect of MIRAPEX, a drug used to treat Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS).

  6. Why immediately after landing, the airline passengers in the row behind me insist on moving up in the aisle so that I can't get out of my seat or reach for my bags.

  7. Why the "SEND" button on my mobile phone isn't considered the equivalent of "push-to-talk."

  8. Why Zip disks still cost so much even though they are obsolete.

  9. The ending of "I am Legend" (2007).

  10. That nobody seems worried that Steve Jobs is a technology fascist.

1. Please, don't give people ideas.

2. B/c people will pay that much to not put their speakers on a box.

8. B/c they're obsolete. If Zip disks had caught on they'd be cheap. Incidentally, how are you the last person in America that uses Zip disks?

10. Once again, b/c people will buy Apple products despite the failure to play nice. I'm sure every other company would love to be able to force their customers to be exclusive, but only Apple has such a sway over people. (I'm saying this from my Macbook)
